Kimberly's My Marissa: Home Again in Oak Branch Woods

In the early 1980's, they say that "video killed the radio star" as music videos became the new wave of the future. Fans could now see their favorite bands as well as watch new ones debut on MTV in four-minute features accompanied by their hit songs. Videos began using simple special effects such as mirrors and repeated images and evolved into elaborate productions using expensive animation and exotic locations. And the Cars came out with some of the best videos as they used all these things to create the images that brought their songs from the radio to television. Below is a list of all the Cars' music videos as well as the videos from Ric Ocasek's and Ben Orr's solo careers. A true 80's band, you can't talk about the Cars without mentioning their videos, and you can find their most famous as well as their lesser known videos on these pages.
