My MLP "Oekaki"

My Marissa: Home Again in Oak Branch Woods Jaya and Mina: New Ground in Oak Branch Woods Kimberly's Attic

Years before anyone ever heard of the term "oekaki" (the online tool for drawing pictures on the computer), when I taught a computer class at the LBI School of Arts and Sciences, I began to use the Paintbrush program to draw pictures for the kids to color then print out. In the two summers I worked there, I introduced them to My Little Pony (1998) and they got me into Pokémon (1999), all through my drawings. Unfortunately, I no longer have the original color or black-and-white computer files, except for one Pokémon graphic, but I did manage to keep all of the print-outs of the black-and-white MLP pictures, and I can still remember all the colors and drawing each and every one. I'm mentioning this because I never really did much MLP fan art, but I was inspired that summer, and looking back, I don't think I could ever again do MLP art that well with a pencil, let alone the computer (I must have had a steadier hand then, as I've never been able to draw with the mouse since). I'm posting these pictures after so many years because there is just so much MLP fan art out there now, and I just wanted to share these drawings that coincide with earliest days of Dream Valley and perhaps the innocence that went with that era of rediscovery.

Please excuse the quality of the scans; they were printed out on a machine that was old at the time (1998), and the paper has since been water-damaged.
