In Year 8, the commercial jingle was changed to "We're My Little Pony Girls..." for the standard ponies, however, Dream Beauties and Petite Ponies had their own unique commercials. The opening of this
commercial is very
unique; it features girls
riding Sweetheart Sister
Ponies on a carrousel.

 We're My Little Pony Girls
with the cutest ponies yet;
They're Baby Drink 'n Wet Ponies;
first they drink, then they wet.
Uh-oh! The hearts mean baby is wet.
Baby Drink 'n Wet Ponies come with
a bottle, changing table, and diapers
that show you when baby needs changing.

In Year 9, the commercial jingle remained "We're My Little Pony Girls...", but a different one was made for My Little Puppy, Kitty, and Bunny.

I ever remember seeing for
Year 9 ponies. By 1991, it
was hard to tell when and
where MLP commercials
could be found.

For years, this commercial was
lost on one of my tapes, and
I had to rely on an episode
of "Days of Our Lives" when
Roman said that Marlena
looked "absolutely beautiful"...
for the lyrics to the commercial
to come back to me! Now, not
only did I find the tape, but
it included four copies of
this commercial!

 My Little Pony girls just love the new
My Little Puppy, My Little Kitty, and
My Little Bunny families.
I keep the mommies with their babies;
close to me and to my heart.
You're so absolutely beautiful,
I loved you from the start.
You're the pretty little families
that I've been dreaming of;
You're the ones I love!

1997-98

The new line of My Little began with two commercials, each featuring two different ponies with the same beginning and ending. Ponies are now identified by the "rainbow proof on the hoof." Shortened version of these commercials were also made and advertised buying one pony and getting the same one free for a friend.
