"Somnambula"
(shown in two parts)

Today is the day that the Big Brother Ponies are finally coming home. Over the past year, they raced around the world and are no so close to crossing the finish line in Dream Valley. The Little Ponies are preparing a big celebration with Truly taking charge. But when the start hearing strange carnival music playing, they stop.
The Big Brother Ponies come home
It's coming from a hooded woman who forces a caged canary to sing a haunting melody that draws the ponies to her. When the ponies approach the woman, she takes off her hood to reveal and old haggard appearance. Suddenly, her wrinkles fade, and she looks young. She creates a magical circus and leads the ponies to it. Meanwhile, the Big Brother Ponies are racing home, all excited about seeing the Little Ponies again. Slugger is especially looking forward to seeing Buttons, whom he has a crush on. But when they arrive at Paradise Estate, no one is there except Truly, Spike and the Baby Ponies. They told the Big Brothers about the mysterious music, and how Spike and the babies weren't affected. They decide to search for the missing ponies while Truly and the babies stay behind.

The little ponies walk into the circus, and suddenly the illusions become real now that Somnambula has her powers back. Each pony finds an activity that was made for her. By now, it's getting late, and the Big Brothers decide to sleep and continue their search in the morning. But at the circus, Somnambula forces her bird, Kyrie to sing again. This time, Truly hears it and leaves the Estate. The Big Brother also hear it and head toward the circus.
Somnambula and Kyrie
'We're so old!'
Spike and the Baby Ponies follow them and they bring the Big Brothers out of their trance. They reach a large door, and inside they find the circus. They look around and and when they find the ponies are all old and wrinkled. But when the Big Brothers' fantasies come to life, they get distracted, but reluctantly continue to look for answers. Seeing this, Somnambula makes Kyrie sing again, entrancing the Big Brothers, forcing them to play. Finally, Kyrie escapes and tells the Baby Ponies and Spike everything. They convince her to go back to the circus and help them. Inside, Kyrie shrieks and the sound snaps all the ponies out of their trance. The Big Brother Ponies and the aged Little Ponies all meet, but Slugger can't find Buttons or the other unicorns. Kyrie, 4-Speed, Quarterback, and Slugger break-in to the cave and find the unicorn chained to a rock and their horn drawn to a crystal that is draining their magic. Somnambula walks in and cages and gags Kyrie so she can't sing to wake the unicorns. But seeing Buttons in agony, Slugger attacks and destroys the crystal causing Somnambula to rapidly age back into an old woman, her true state. The circus disappears and the Little Ponies regain their youth.
