"The Quest of the Princess Ponies"

The Princess Ponies are once again arguing over which one of then should be queen. All are qualified, but no one wants to share. Meanwhile, Spike and the Bushwoolies are lost in the Jewel Desert, and while trying to get back Dream Valley, they end up in the Royal Paradise. Princess Royal Blue introduces herself and asks Spike to choose which one of the Princess Ponies should be queen. But all this is being watched by Lavan, a lava demon who has plans to steal the Princess Ponies magic wands since they contain all the magic in Ponyland. Lavan attacks and gets all the wands. He prepares to use them to transform himself into an all-powerful crystal being. But the magic in the wands is too powerful for him to control at first. When he tries to use them, the magical foundation of Ponyland is upset. The unicorns can no longer control their magic, the weather suddenly changes, and the Jewel Desert begins expanding and starts to cover over the Royal Paradise with crystal. Seeing where this is coming from, Paradise flies in the direction until she meets up with Princess Tiffany who was on her way to Dream Valley.
At the same time, Lavan plans to capture the Princess Ponies and force them to show him how to extract the magic from the wands. On his next raid, he captures the five remaining princesses. When the Princess Ponies refuse Lavan's request, they are taken to the lave pit. The Bushwoolies and Spike escape by distracting the Lava Demons, but the Princess Ponies are still faced with a fatal choice - jump or be pushed into the lava pit. They escape, but Spike and the Bushwoolies have already been captured by the Ice Orgs. They believe that Spike is Lava Demon when he breathes fire. But he proves them wrong when G'nash touches Spikes arm, and it freezes up and G'nash feel no heat from Spike's body. When they find out that they're all on the same side, they all search for the Princess Ponies. Back in Dream Valley, Paradise return with Princess Tiffany. She explains the whole ordeal to Megan and the other ponies.
While searching for their wands, the Princess Ponies once again meet up with Spike, the Bushwoolies, and the Ice Orgs. G'nash leads them into tunnels that even Lavan doesn't know about.

In Dream Valley, Megan and Tiffany leave to go back to the Royal Paradise, hoping that the Rainbow of Light can restore the magic. But while flying over the Jewel Desert,the Rainbow Locket is lost. Meantime, Lavan is still frustrated over not being about to use the wands. He decides to use his own power on them, and drains some of their magic, turning his upper body to crystal, complete with new power. Meanwhile, Spike, the Princess Ponies, the Bushwoolies, and G'nash are still looking for Lavan's throne room when Sludge walks in on them. Spike attacks him before he can explain that he's turning against Lavan. G'nash decides to make piece with Sludge with Spike's help, allowing them to finally shake hands. After giving up trying to find the locket, Megan and Tiffany go to the Mushromp, only to find that the Moochick's magic has also gone out of control.  |

By this time, Lavan has completely transformed and is all powerful. Habbit tells the Moochick that the answer to their problem may be in The Book of Lost Answers. It tells them to find the Heart Of Ponyland where they must use their magic wands and work together.
By now, the Jewel Desert has nearly consumed Dream Valley. In the throne room, the Princess Ponies find their wands, but they have been drained of their magic. After escaping from Lavan, they find the Heart of Ponyland, the source of the wands' magic.
But just as they are about to lay their wands in the crowns for recharging, Lavan reappears. But they manage to place their wands in the heart, and use their new power to destroy Lavan and restore the balance of magic. To thank the Bushwoolies for their help, the Princess knight them and allow them to guard the crowns. Princess Tiffany keeps one crown in memory of the Bushwoolie lost in the Jewel Desert. With their quest over, the Princess Ponies decide to take turns as the queen. They day is made perfect when the Bushwoolie finds his way back, bringing the Rainbow of Light back with him.

"The Golden Horseshoes"

After collapsing, Mimic begins suffering from a mysterious illness which causes weakness, a pale complexion, no appetite, and even the loss of the twinkle in her eye. Having never dealt with an illness like this, the Megan and the ponies decide that it may be caused by magic, being that Mimic is a unicorn and seek out the Moochick for advice. He discovers that Mimic is a descendent to a unicorn who used to own the four Golden Horseshoes. Each shoe had a gave her a different power, but they were lost in a windstorm, and since then have been carries further and further apart. And since Mimic had their magic in her veins, she is becoming weaker the more they are separated.
To search for the horseshoes, the ponies go to Screera that is inhabited by large birds who agree to only give them the first shoe when Wind Whistler bet that she could win a foot race against Fleetfoot. But the Scree, who only bet on sure things, used the horseshoe's power to see the future, and already knew that Wind Whistler would lose.
After learning this, Megan took the horseshoe from them, which led then to the second one. This one was is Blarkland, and the Blarks agreed to give it to them if they could stump their leader with a riddle. Paradise did it by asking "What walk on four legs in the morning, two at midday, and three at sunset?" (Answer: humans). The third horseshoe belonged to a family of goblins who's three boys captured the ponies. However, they constantly fought amongst themselves since the horseshoe that their mother wore allowed them to read each others mind. After escaping, the ponies stole the horseshoe, and at the same time, solved the family's problems. Finally, the last horseshoe was found in the home of the Green Mountain Elves. It belonged to the young princess, Mave, who had way to much fun with it, using it to fly, to want to give it up. But when Mave saw how sick, Mimic was, she gave it to the ponies willingly.When all four horseshoes were placed on Mimic's feet, their magic restored her health, even bringing back the twinkle in her eye.

"Flight To Cloud Castle"

Heart Throb, Locket, and Twilight's race is suddenly interrupted when they are knocked over by a large bird who is trying to escape from a young man named Garth who is chasing it from the ground. When Heart Throb flies down to see what is going on, Garth sees that she has wings and pleads with her to take him to his destination. He refuses to even tell her where they would be going and that shouldn't matter to her. But then explains that he must get to a floating castle where his true love, Ariel, lies in an enchanted slumber, and only a man brave enough to face its dangers is good enough to marry her. Being a hopeless romantic, Heart Throb agrees to help him, and Twilight and Locket go with them. Once they reach the castle, they make several attempts to board it, but fail, since the castle is constantly moving. Finally, they surround it, but are chased off by a waterbearing Undine and a flame throwing Salamander.
Garth and the ponies finally make it into the castle by after causing them to work against each other. Once inside, Garth uses his magic to find Ariel. However, the Undine and the Salamander regroup, and the ponies have to fight them off, giving Garth the opportunity to kiss Ariel. Once she awakens, and the spell is broken. Also, the Undine and the Salamander change back into their original gnome form as they were two of her former suitors. They were transformed into Ariel's guards when her father created the castle. Ariel decides that isn't ready to fall in love. As she tries to explain to Garth, the castle begins to fall, he refuses to help since Ariel won't except his love. However, after he does manage to save everyone, Ariel decides to give a relationship with Garth a chance.
