"The Return of Tambelon"
(shown in four parts)

Baby Ribbon winking in
Megan's Tambelon nightmare

The Little Ponies Ponies are playing hide & seek, and Paradise is it. But they have a special rule - the unicorns may not wink in and out to hide. But when Baby Ribbon can't find a place, she winks out. Her mother always to help her wink, back in, but the second time she does it, Baby Ribbon can't wink back in at all. When Ribbon winks out to look for her, she never comes back. Danny tells Megan, and before she can do anything, Galaxy winks out to look for them. She also disappears. Megan sets a rule for the unicorns not to wink out until they know what's going on. But it's already too late for Baby Gusty, Fizzy, and Gusty. Soon, Buttons is the only one left. While searching for the others, Buttons winks out and disappears too. That night, Megan has a nightmare where she is running through a cave. Suddenly she sees Ribbon who says one word, "Tambelon", and then a dark ram-like creature appears. Megan wakes up screaming. She assumes that her dream was a telepathic message from Ribbon and Paradise remembers that Tambelon is a lost city in the Realm of Darkness. She claims that it last appeared 500 years ago, and when it's ruler, Grogar couldn't conquer Ponyland, he returned to the Realm of Darkness, but swore to come back 500 years later.
Grogar and Bray
She thinks that as tambelon is moving from the Realm of Darkness to Ponyland, it intercepted the unicorns as they winked out. Tambelon soon completely appears in Ponyland in the form of a storm. Grogars' servants, the Troggles attack and capture several Little Ponies. But Grogar is not pleased because he cannot conquer Ponyland until all the ponies and their friends are captured.

Recording Bray

Paradise sends the baby ponies with the Moochick to protect them, but all but a few little ponies, Flutter Ponies, Baby Sea Ponies, Grundles, and Bushwoolies have already been brought to Tambelon. Several rescue attempts also fail. Meanwhile, inside, Magic Star, Heart Throb and Galaxy try to escape, and along the way, the spot a large antique bell. Galaxy feels that there's power in it, but doesn't know what. They soon find Megan and Lofty, but they are all sent back to the dungeon when the guards find them. While making a surveillance, Peach Blossom reports back to Molly and the others that Lofty and Megan are now prisoners too. Danny decides that the only way to win against Grogar is to learn his weakness. Peach Blossom and Wind Whistler believe that the bell he wears around his neck may be the source of his power. Molly gives Danny the idea to use his tape recorder to get Bray's (Grogar's assistant) on tape and use it as a lure to trap Grogar.
Escaping from Tambelon
Danny records Bray giving orders to the Troggles and Danny edits the tape so it plays only Bray saying "Grogar, this is your last chance to capture all those ponies." With Masquerade disguised as Bray, he plays the tape for Grogar, Grogar chases after her. Danny and the ponies surround him, but when Spike goes for his bell, it only results in the capture of Paradise and Forget-Me-Not.

Later, the Little Ponies traps Drog, one of the Troggles. He admits that he and some of the others are planning to turn against Grogar. Drog tells them that Grogar is going to exile the imprisoned ponies to the Realm of Darkness at midnight. Drog leads them into Tambelon to try to free the ponies.
'Let the Bell of Freedom Ring!'
But they are soon all cornered by Grogar and his guards. Now, all the inhabitants of Ponyland are in his dungeon. Drog is also imprisoned for being a traitor. Forget-Me-Not notices a crack in the ceiling of the dungeon. By using a bucket of gruel, Buttons and Fizzy pour it into the crack, and use their magic to expand it. Once open, Megan, North Star and Forget-Me-Not fly out. They get the keys from Bray and set everyone free. With the Troggles also turning against Grogar, he loses control and keeps his prisoners from reaching the gate. Megan and North Star make an attempt to find and ring the old bell once Paradise remembers that this will destroy Grogar's power. Once the bell is rung, Grogar and Bray are powerless and are forced back into the Realm of Darkness with Tambelon for another 500 years. Afterward, Drog thanks Megan and the ponies for their help and the Troggles settle into their new home in Ponyland.

"The Magic Coins"
(shown in four parts)

Magic coins?

While the little ponies are having a picnic near the lake, the Baby Sea Ponies discover a treasure chest underwater. Inside is a collection of coins, each with a strange marking on it. They decide to ignore the coins and continue with the picnic. But Sweet Stuffs trips over the chest while playing volleyball, spilling the coins on the ground. Soon, the ponies' impossible wishes start to come true, and Wind Whistler figures out that it is because of the coins.
Out of water
When each pony made her wish, they happened to be standing on a coin which then glowed and dematerialized. Megan them figured that the symbols told the kind of wish the coin granted. Suddenly it started to rain, and the picnic was over. Angry, Baby Lickety-Split stepped on a coin and wished that it would never rain again.

And for weeks, it had not rained. All of Ponyland was fast drying up because of the heat, and the little ponies couldn't use the coins to stop it because they had spent (wished on) all but three.
The Golden Rose
And none of them could bring rain. Megan thought that the Moochick might be able to help, so she and a few others went to him. On their way, they passed the river that had evaporated. There they found the Baby Sea Ponies who were dying from being out of water. Danny, Molly, Whizzer, Lofty, North Star, Ribbon and Lickety-Split tried to carry the them to water while Megan, Galaxy, Wind Whistler, Gingerbread, Fizzy, Magic Star, Heart Throb, and Spike continued on to the Mushromp.
The Heart of Fire
The Moochick told them that the Magic Coins belonged to Niblic the Troll who lived in the Crimson Canyon and that only he could undo the effects of the coins. They then continued on. While passing though the Jewel Dessert, Wind Whistler and Galaxy finds water inside the cactus, but they are unable to bring any back to the Baby Sea Ponies. Later, they meet a little man named Puck who volunteers to be their guide to Niblic. When they reach Niblic, he orders them to pay a toll to cross his bridge. When they try to cross, he raises the bridge, almost causing them to fall through.

They then convince him that they will bring him treasure of equal or better value than the Magic Coins is he undoes the coins' effects.
Niblic's new friend
They split up and bring back the Heart of Fire ruby, the Golden Rose, and the Emerald Idle. But Niblic is allergic to roses and hated his golden gift. He might have gone for the Emerald Idle, but after pulling it out a crumbling cave, the emerald crumbled as well. Even after Megan and Wind Whistler risk their lives for the Heart of Fire, they see that Niblic already had a trunk full of rubies just like it. With Niblic rejecting all three gifts, Megan uses the last coin to give Niblic the greatest treasure of all - a friend. He's doesn't like him at first, but they soon becomes good friends and he reverses the coins' effects. He brings on the rain in time to put out a fire that was coming dangerously close to Paradise Estate that was caused by the drought and to bring the Baby Sea Ponies back to life. Niblic agrees that his newfound friendship is a more valuable than his coins.

"Fugitive Flowers"
(shown in two parts)

Posey cares for the Flores

Whizzer and Masquerade are stunned when they find giant crabs tearing up the forest. The crabs tell them that they're on official business to find the Flores. Meanwhile the Flores, mobile sentient flowers, find their way onto Posey's garden to partake of its fertile soil. Posey feels sorry for them, and plants them in spot reserved for her prize roses. They introduce themselves to her, Megan, and Cherries Jubilee. As they tell them how the Crab Nasties are hunting them, Whizzer and Masquerade realize that the Crab Nasties are the creatures they saw earlier.
Flores turned evil
Suddenly, the Crab Nasties arrive and Megan and the ponies protect the Flores from them by turning the Crab Nasties over on their backs and locking then in a cage of stone. The Crab Nasties plead with them that the Flores are criminals, but the ponies refuse to believe them. But Masquerade learns the truth when she sees the Flores devour the soil's nutrients and and grow. They then find Masquerade, and binding her with roots, imprison her until Whizzer sets her free. The two ponies go to free the Crab Nasties, but they had already escaped.

The Flores give themselves up

The next morning, Posey finds the Flores gone and automatically suspects the Crab Nasties. But Whizzer and Masquerade inform her of what they saw last night. Posey is heartbroken; she can't believe that Flores, as beautiful as her own beloved flowers, could be so evil. And even worse, that the horrible-looking Crab Nasties were not. Megan and Cherries Jubilee tell her not to judge creatures only by their appearance. When they finally locate the Crab Nasties, they refuse to help the ponies for not for not heeded their word yesterday. They finally agree when the Flores attack them. The Flores soon surrender and are taken into custody. Posey apologies to the Crab Nasties for prejuging them, and to show their appreciation, they restore her garden. Posey brings herself to believe that the Crab Nasties are beautiful, in more ways then one.
