The Flutter Ponies (French: Pouliches Voltigeuses; also sold in Canada) are the mysterious relatives of the Little Ponies who live in far off Flutter Valley. They are famous for defeating the Smooze and saving Ponyland in "My Little Pony: the Movie." However, they are infamous for their delicate wings that can easily break (and usually do). Flutter Ponies are smaller then the other ponies with long, thin legs, and floral names (in Year 4) and symbols that were also pictured on their faces. Their wings are rigid, irridescent pieces that reflect the colors of the rainbow. Like a pair of shoes, each Flutter Pony came with a left and a right wing that only fit properly into its own side. The detachable wings are inserted into a base on the pony's back; the wings have a piece of plastic on the end the same color as the pony's body (this would change with later Flutter Ponies, making the wings more durable). In the center of the base is a shell-shaped button, and when your press it, her wings flutter up and down. Unfortunately, once the wings got lost of broken, they could not be replaced. Each Flutter pony came with a flower hair pick, metallic ribbon, and scented body sticker. All the Flutter Ponies have long, curly hair.
Honeysuckle (French: Sucrette) is all pink with pink hair, and blue eyes. Her symbol is a 5-pointed snowflake shaped arrangement of pink and yellow buds. She has a one segment this arrangement pictured on her forehead.
Morning Glory (French: Rosée du Matin) is mint green with chartreuse hair, and purple eyes. Her symbol is a light green vine w/ purple flowers. She also has a tiny flower under her right eye.
Peach Blossom (French: Fleur Fruitée) is sea green with aqua hair, and purple eyes. Her symbol is a group of pink blossoms w/orange centers descending down her hind legs. She also has one of these flowers on her forehead.
Rosedust (French: Pétale de Rose) is yellow with pink hair, and pink eyes. Her symbol is three pink rose surrounded by pink & green rosebuds that descend down her hind legs. She has a rosebud under her right eye. Rosedust was the Queen of the Flutter Ponies who ruled over hundreds of other residents of Flutter Valley.
Forget-Me-Not (French: Petit Souvenir) is purple with white hair, and blue eyes. Her symbol is three sets of cascading purple & yellow flowers (with purple dots below them). She also has one of these flowers (w/dots) under her left eye.
Lily (French: Lily) is pink with purple hair, and yellow-green eyes. Her symbol is a tall light green plant with large leaves and pink flowers. She also has one of these flowers on her forehead.
The Flutter Ponies were featured in a sequel to the movie on the My Little Pony TV series, "The End of Flutter Valley" where they once again did battle with the witches from the Volcano of Doom. Rosedust and Lily also returned in Year 5 with the new set of Flutter Ponies.

In Year 4, Megan was given a younger sister named Molly who along with their brother Danny (no doll was made), were introduced in "My Little Pony: the Movie." Like her older sister, Molly came with her own pony, Baby Sundance, the offspring of Megan's pony.
Molly has blonde hair (in two ponytails w/pink ribbons) and blue eyes. She is wearing a pink dress w/white dots and pink & white trims, rainbows-striped tights, and white shoes. Molly has soft, bendable legs which are designed to allow her sit snuggly on Baby Sundance, or any other baby pony's back.
Baby Sundance (Earth Pony) looks very much like her mother, Sundance. She is white with curly pink hair, and blue Beddy-Bye Eyes (w/blue eyelids). Her symbol is pink hearts, triangles, and dots arranged in a circular pattern. A close-up of her symbol is shown. She came with a light pink, velvet bridle with a flower (white w/yellow) in the center with attached reins, and hair ribbon.
Molly and Baby Sundance came with a brush, comb, and body sticker that featured both of them.
Not released in the U.S., there was another version of Molly wearing a new dress and Baby Sundance with a First Tooth. That
Baby Sundance had a slightly different symbol that the one shown here which the original Sundance and Baby Sundance always shared.
Megan and So Soft Sundance
Also, in Year 4, Megan and Sundance were reissued with Megan wearing a new dress and Sundance as a So Soft Pony. Megan's dress is white and decorated with tiny purple flowers, dark pink trim, and white lace. She also wore pink shoes (w/molded hearts; slightly darker than original), white panties, and a dark pink ribbon in her hair. Sundance has no notable changes from the Year 3 original; she is white with pink curly hair, blue eyes, and her symbol is the same circular pattern made up of hearts, triangles, and dots. Her bridle is dark pink with a white & yellow flower w/pink leaves in the center has attached reins. I don't know if her bridle is different from the one she wore in year 3. Megan and So Soft Sundance came with a brush, comb, and body sticker that featured both of them.

In Year 4, Baby Sea Ponies were given their own special look - a shimmering Pretty 'n Pearly glaze on their bodies. Two Year 3 ponies, Surf Rider and Sea Shimmer, were given this look as well as four new ponies. Also, new frog and alligator float designs were introduced and were given to the new ponies. The tips of their (the new ponies') fins were the same color as their hair.
Ripple is white with dark pink hair (& fin tips), and blue eyes. She came with mint green w/pink frog float.
Sunshower is all pale gold with gold hair (& fin tips), and blue eyes. She came with a blue w/ yellow alligator float.
Water Lily is coral-pink with aqua hair (& fin tips), and pinkish-purple eyes. She came with a light pinkish-purple w/sea green frog float.
Beachcomber is aqua with blue hair (& fin tips), and pinkish-purple eyes. She came with pink w/sea green alligator float.
Sea Shimmer is light green with aqua hair (& fin tips), and turquoise eyes. She came with a pinkish-purple w/light green turtle float.
Surf Rider (not shown) is pale lavender with pale pink hair, blue eyes, and pink fin tips. She came with a blue w/purple fish float. Note: Info on Surf Rider is based on the Year 3 original version of her.
They were also featured on the My Little Pony TV series. One episode in particular featuring the Pretty 'n Pearly Baby Sea Ponies was "The Magic Coins" where they nearly died during a of a drought that dried up their lake and almost all the water in Ponyland.
In the UK, there was also a set of Pretty & Pearly Baby Sea Ponies that included the 4 new ponies with Sunshower and Ripple having their heard facing forward, plus the return of Tiny Bubbles and Sea Star.

The Party Gift pack was a collection of five special Little Ponies and over 50 accessories that gave collectors everything they needed to give a My Little Pony party. There were five different kinds of ponies in the set.
Party Time (Earth pony) is a Twinkle-Eyed Pony who is orange with light pink/white/chartreuse/blue hair. Her eyes are magenta jewels and her symbol is a group of pink & blue party hats.
Best Wishes (pegasus) is a So Soft Pony who is pink (darker body under fur) with curly yellow hair, and blue eyes. Her symbol is three blue & yellow candles.
Baby Frosting (unicorn) is a Baby Pony with Beddy-Bye Eyes who is light green with white hair, and purple eyes (w/purple eyelids), Her symbol is three pink & white cakes with candles.
Celebrate is a Pretty 'n Pearly Baby Sea Pony who is white with curly purple hair, aqua eyes, and aqua fin tips. She came with light purple w/orange turtle float.
Yum Yum is a Flutter Pony who is dark purple with curly chartreuse hair, and chartreuse eyes. Her symbol is a group of maroon w/yellow wrapped candies; she also has a tiny piece of candy under her right eye.
Each pony came with her own party hat (designs included: blue & orange balloon design w/pink pom pom, yellow & aqua diamond design w/aqua pom pom, aqua & pink flower design w/yellow pom pom, pink & green wave design w/white pom pom, and yellow & dark pink fish design w/light blue pom pom), Other accessories included a six piece birthday cake (white w/yellow trim) with removable (pink) candles and (blue) serving plate, six (yellow) cups, six (blue) plates, five party favors (pink, orange, green, blue, purple), Pin-the-Tail on the Pony game (that features Party Time with two (orange and purple) blindfolds and two (pink) tails, "It's a Party" blanket and "It's Party Time" sign, party panties (white w/colored stars; for Baby Frosting; in a box with her picture), balloon (light green w/pink stick; designed to attach to Baby Frosting's hind leg), decorated gift box (same as the one that came with with the Year 3 Pony Wear "Party Time"), five pony-sized invitations (that picture Yum Yum), one large invitation (that pictures Best Wishes; for you use to invite a friend), five ribbons, brush and hair pick, and body sticker (not of a pony from the Party Gift Pack; mine came with Hippity-Hop).
In the UK, the Party Gift Pack was called Birthday Party and only came with one pony named Tutti Frutti.
In Year 5, following this set-up, a Slumber Party Gift Pack was added with the Party Gift Pack (unchanged) returning.
