My Marissa: Home Again in Oak Branch Woods Jaya and Mina: New Ground in Oak Branch Woods Kimberly's Attic

In Pony fashion, Year 4 gave us several new outfits to dress up our ponies including clothes for Megan and Baby Ponies as well as adult ponies. This year, we saw very important new pony buildings including the Paradise Estate mansion that became the Little Ponies' new home.

Pony Purse

Pony Purse
Throughout the years, collectors could buy bags and purses with the My Little Pony logo and likenesses on them to carry most anything. But this year, a Pony Purse was created exclusively for carrying Ponies and their accessories. The square-shaped purse was deep enough to hold lots of clothes and accessories with an inside pocket for carrying an adult pony. On the outside was also a small pocket for carrying a baby pony. The main compartment of the Pony Purse is pink (with a row of white lace trim on the front) with a soft white pillow attached to the top for the adult pony inside to lean on. The pillow has a blue heart in the corner and white lace around the edges. The inside pocket is solid white while the outside pocket is white with tiny multi-colored hearts. The Pony Purse has an elastic rainbow striped arm strap and felt rainbow with the "My Little Pony" logo printed on it in blue letters.

Baby Sleepy-Pie
The Pony Purse also came with its own special baby pony. Baby Sleepy Pie (Earth pony) is white with curly blue hair, and blue Beddy-Bye Eyes (w/blue eyelids). Her symbol is a sleeping pink & purple teddy bear wearing a pink & purple striped nightcap.

In Year 5, another Pony Purse was made with different colors and patterns.

Baby Bonnet School of Dance

Baby Bonnet School of Dance
The Baby Bonnet School of Dance is a ballet studio shaped like a blue baby bonnet for baby ponies to practice and perform dance routines. When closed, it could be carried by the pink bow handle on top of the building. The front panel features a full color picture of Baby Lofty, Baby Lickety-Split, and Baby Half Note (the Baby Bonnet School of Dance's own pony) dressed in ballet attire, and practicing on the dance floor under the My Little Pony rainbow logo. When open, the front panel becomes a stage with three revolving lavender platforms on which baby ponies and their animal friends (who came with the school) could perform when you turned the dial. On the back wall is a mirror and yellow ballet bar, and pink hooks on the side wall. There's also butterfly decals on the walls and floor and a ballet bunny poster on the wall.

Baby Half Note (Earth pony), like all Year 4 Baby Ponies, came with Beddy-Bye Eyes. She is pale lavender with aqua hair, and aqua eyes (w/purple eyelids). Her symbol is a pair of purple ballet slipper tied with a pink ribbon. She wears a white mesh tutu (w/pink waistband), four
Baby Half Note
pink legwarmers, and pink flower tiara (w/white back band). She also came with a butterfly brush and hair ribbon.
Other accessories included six solid-colored (pink and yellow) animal friends (mentioned above; 2 of each color) - bunnies, swans, and bees - all dressed in ballet attire), pink ballet box (w/full-color decal on front), and a pink sign with six full-color interchangeable labels with the names of ballet routines: "Pretty Pony Prance", "Swan Lake", "Baby Bunny Bounce", Bumble Bee Boogie", "Twinkle Toes Twirl", and "Woolly Wiggle Waltz."

The Baby Bonnet School of Dance and Baby Half Note (both unchanged) returned in Year 5. In a later mail-in offer, Baby Half Note was re-issued as one of the Playset Ponies, but without Beddy-Bye Eyes.

Paradise Estate

The Paradise Estate was the ultimate My Little Pony playset as it replaced the Dream Castle as the Ponies' new home. It was given to them by the Moochick in "My Little Pony: the Movie" as a replacement home after the Dream Castle was buried in Smooze. The Ponies were very picky when it came to choosing a new home, but when they saw this mansion, they knew it was "paradise."

Paradise Estate (front view)
The Paradise Estate is the largest playset, and opens up to reveal four big fully furnished rooms: kitchen, living room, bedroom, and nursery, each with their appropriate furniture and accessories, over 60 in all. Some pieces of furniture are decorated with full-color decals. This mansion could be displayed opened with easy access to the rooms (as shown) or closed with all four room attached on the inside. The building is shown from the back (where the swimming pool is located). When shown from the front, there is a front gate, and a patio that leads up to the pool. Paradise Estate itself is a pink building with a dark pink shingled (w/raised heart design) roof. Windows and shudders are aqua with a swirled heart design. Each room one of two raised floor designs with a pink & white ceiling fan hanging in the center of the room. The two rooms that face the front (bedroom and living room) each have a pink rainbow-striped awning over the front window.

The first room (from left to right) is the kitchen. It contains a pink sink/counter top/stove unit (w/decals), yellow refrigerator (w/decals inside and out), lavender toaster, pink breakfast bar (half-circle table w/design), two lavender chars (w/heart design), two pink dishes (w/heart design), two pink glasses, two pink forks, two pink knives, two pink spoons, two pink milk cartons (not labeled), and two pink long-neck bottles. The kitchen has a parquet floor, and room decals include a shelf w/canisters, memo board, hanging utensil rack, and rectangle-shaped rug.

Next is the living room. It contains a yellow sofa, lavender chair, lavender coffee table (w/newspaper decals), blue television set (w/screen decal), lavender table lamp (w/white shade), stereo (w/turntable & dial decals) and two yellow speakers. The living room floor has a circle pattern, and room decals include a magazine cover and a portrait of Megan & Molly.

The patio is where ponies enter Paradise Estate. The front gate is aqua and similar in pattern (but not exact) to the shudders on each room. On either side of the gate, there is a pink & blue lantern light and a sign for the Paradise Estate on the left side of the entranceway. Also, the living room and the bedroom can be entered through the patio; each room has aqua doors, again, similar in pattern to the gates and shudders. The patio floor is a purple cobblestone design with a heart pattern in the middle. Patio furniture includes a white table with a rainbow striped umbrella (w/pink heart topper), and two white swirl & heart design chairs. Behind the patio is the swimming pool that you can fill with water. The pool is turquoise with a built-in slide and aqua diving board. Above the pool is a pink four-column canopy with four blue-tinted windows and a white heart on the front and back. There are pink steps leading up to the diving board from the patio and also leading out of the pool from the other side. On either side of the patio-side stairs, there is a blue sea pony statue and a flower bed (each side has twelve flowers on various types and colors).
Paradise Estate (top view)

The bedroom is next to the patio on the right. It contains a pink bed (w/purple headboard; the bed has a molded bedspread and pillows, but also comes with a pink felt blanket), dresser with oval mirror (w/beauty accessory decal), lavender floor lamp (w/white shade), pink perfume bottle, and two pink combs. The floor has a circle pattern and room decals include an oval rug, "good night" sign, portrait of Megan & Sundance, and flower-pattern boarders under the windows.

The last room is the nursery. It contains a yellow crib (w/pink mattress), yellow changing table (w/accessory decal), pink toy box (w/removable lid and decal), pull duck toy, and stacking toy (blue base; smallest to largest: white/pink/green/yellow rings). The nursery has a parquet floor and room decals include a round rug, portrait of Mother and Baby Firefly, growth chart, baby pony birth announcement poster, and duckling design boarders under the windows.

In a particuarally bizarre episode from the My Little Pony TV series, "The Revolt of Paradise Estate," all the furniture in the Paradise Estate comes to life after is it painted with magic paint. Tired to being taken for granted, each piece turns against the ponies and throws them out. The furniture soon realized how good they really had it with the ponies when the man who sold the ponies the magic paint, Beezen, shows up to take control over the Paradise Estate. He is soon defeated and the furniture is once again inanimate.

The Paradise Estate did not come with any ponies (including those shown). The Estate returned, unchanged, in Year 5.
