The third year meant a continuation of Pony Accessories that began in Year 2. Pony Wear became more elaborate, and expanded to include clothes for Baby Ponies, while new pony places were made exclusively for Baby Ponies this year, namely the popular Baby Buggy and Lullabye Nursery.

In addition to the four pony outfits that were carried over from Year 2 (not pictured - Best of the West, Sweet Dreams, Pony Royal, and Great Skates), four new outfits were added to make up Year 3's line of Pony Wear. Two new kinds of shoes were added: dress shoes with molded bows and sneakers (w/molded laces, etc.) Each Pony Wear outfit came with a scented puffy sticker that pictured a pony wearing the outfit.

Pony Luv (Tootsie)
Pony Luv (modeled by Tootsie) is a tennis outfit which includes white tennis dress w/pink & blue trim and pink bow, white panties w/lace trim, white visor w/two pink rackets printed on it, pink tennis racket (not white as shown), and four white sneakers. Pony Luv, under the name Tennis Fun was also included in the "Pony Wear Collection 3", sold outside the U.S.

Pom Pom Pony (modeled by Posey) is a cheerleader outfit which includes a white sweater w/pink "MLP" logo, pink & purple pleated skirt, two pink & purple pom poms, "MLP" logo pennant (pink felt w/white letters, white stick), and four purple sneakers.

Party Time (Cherries Jubliee)
Party Time (modeled by Cherries Jubilee) includes a purple party dress (w/pink tiny white polkadots, white neckline, white lace trim and pink bow), party hat (w/pink/yellow/purple solid circles & magenta ring and a purple pom pom), printed pink/purple/white gift box, and 4 yellow bow shoes (not pink as shown). Party Time, under the name Birthday Girl was also included in the "Pony Wear Collection 3", sold outside the U.S.

The trendy 80's-style Flashprance (modeled by Gusty) includes a rainbow-striped mini dress, four pink leg warmers, pink headband, purple bag (w/yellow "MLP logo), and four yellow bow shoes. Flashprance was also included in the "Pony Wear Collection 3", sold outside the U.S.

Many of these outfits can be seen in the costume ball in the special "My Little Pony: Escape From Catrina." All of them returned in Year 4.

The most elegant of all pony clothes was this year's line of Pony Wear with Jewelry. Each outfit had a sparking piece of jewelry to compliment its dazzling look. Each Pony Wear with Jewelry outfit came with a scented puffy sticker that pictured a pony wearing the outfit. Four of these outfits made up a set called Pony Wear Collection 5 outside the U.S.; their names were different there and are listed below.

Hearts and Candy (Powder)
Hearts and Candy (modeled by Powder); (Collection 5 name: My Valentine) includes a red w/white lace dress (& decorated with red hearts) and matching bonnet; jeweled heart-shaped pendant (silver w/red jewel; pink chain), and four red bow shoes.

Lights, Camera, Action (modeled by Lickety-Split); (Collection 5 name: Movie Star) includes a gold lamé dress (w/white mesh sleeves & clear jewel), white faux fur stole, gold jeweled (blue jewels) sunglasses, and 4 blue bow shoes. The shoes that came with this outfit were made out of a harder vinyl than most shoes.

Sweetness and Lace (Parasol)
Sweetness and Lace (modeled by Parasol); (Collection 5 name: Champagne and Lace) includes a satiny purple lace nightgown see through purple lace robe, four plumed slippers (satiny purple material w/dark purple base & pinkish-purple faux fur plumes), and white beaded necklace.

Pageant Queen (modeled by Pinwheel) includes silver lamé gown, silver jeweled crown (the jewels in my crown are gold & yellow, but they may have turned from the original over the years), purple sash that reads "Miss Pony USA" in white letters, silver lamé purse, and four purple bow shoes.

Something Old, Something New (Trickles)
Something Old-Something New (modeled by Trickles) is a bridal ensemble that includes a white satiny wedding gown, white lace flowered veil (w/pearly & silver trim crown), white lace garter, gold ring w/clear jewel, and four white bow shoes). The shoes that came with this outfit were made out of a harder vinyl than most shoes. In the U.K., this outfit was called Wedding Bells" and was sold independently and was worn by Confetti (in Sunlight's pose).

From the Designer Collection... (modeled by Sparkler); (Collection 5 name: Scarlet Sensation) includes a ruffled magenta dress (black & magenta lamé bodice), silver lamé purse, jeweled earrings (silver w/pink jewels base & light pink dangling stone [plastic & non-shimmering), and four magenta bow shoes. The shoes that came with this outfit were made out of a harder vinyl than most shoes.

Many of these outfits can be seen in the costume ball in the special "My Little Pony: Escape From Catrina." Four of them were reissued as part of the "Stocking's Holiday Party" mail offer.



Mother/Baby Pony Wear (Glory and Baby Glory)

In Year 3, when mothers and baby ponies were always together, they could now also dress alike for family outings. With Mother/Baby Pony Wear, very piece was identical, right down to the last detail when it came to making baby's clothes just like mother's. Each Mother/Baby Pony Wear set came with a scented puffy sticker that pictured mother mother and baby pony wearing the outfits.

Sunday Stroll (Mother and Baby Cotton Candy)
Sunday Stroll (modeled by Mother and Baby Cotton Candy) includes two pink floral-printed dresses, two pink purses, two white lace hats (w/pink trim & pink flowers; baby hat not shown), and two sets of white bow shoes (not pink as shown on backcard; four shoes in each set). The adult outfit in this set was sold separately outside the U.S. as part of Pony Wear Collection 4.

Pony Workout (modeled by Mother and Baby Moondancer) is are jogging outfits that include two blue hooded sweatshirts (w/red & gold lamé trim and stars), two pairs of blue sweatpants (w/red & gold lamé trim) four gold adult pony sneakers, and four gold baby pony bow shoes. The adult outfit in this set was sold separately outside the U.S. as part of Pony Wear Collection 3 and was called Fun Run.

Snow Angels (Mother and Baby Glory)
Snow Angels (modeled by Mother and Baby Glory) includes two pink skating dresses (with silver lamé trim & white faux fur trim), two pink winter hats (w/white faux fur trim), and two sets of ice skates (four in each set; white w/pink blades). The adult outfit in this set was sold separately outside the U.S. as part of Pony Wear Collection 3 and was called Ice Dance.

Sun & Fun (modeled by Mother and Baby Moondancer) includes two gold w/white polkadot bikinis, two dark pink sun hats (w/yellow ribbon trim), and two beach towels (pink/purple/orange/yellow striped). The adult outfit in this set was sold separately outside the U.S. as part of Pony Wear Collection 4 and was called Beach Party.

Ready For Rainbows (Mother and Baby Cotton Candy)
Ready for Rainbows (modeled by Mother and Baby Cotton Candy) includes two yellow w/red trim slickers, two matching rain rats, and matching two purses, and two sets of red rain boots (four boots in each set). An adult outfit much like Ready For Rainbows was part of a set of Pony Wear sold outside the U.S. and was called Rainy Day Outfit.

Prima Ballerina (modeled by Mother and Baby Glory - see graphic above) includes pink & white striped leotards, two white mesh tutus (white felt band, short mesh), two sets of fuzzy pink leg warmers (four in each set), and two sets of pink (shown as white in above graphic) bow shoes (four in each set). The adult outfit in this set was sold separately outside the U.S. as part of Pony Wear Collection 4 and was called Ballerina.
