This page continues the 2003 MLP collection, into early 2004 based on the ponies featured (and some not) in the second MLP booklet that comes with the ponies and accessories shown below.
Just as they are labeled with a flower-shaped sticker on the package, these four ponies are new friends for you and your existing '03 little ponies. Like earlier ponies, each of these new friends comes with a translucent (w/silver glitter) pony-shaped charm on an iridescent cord and a brush with a raised bow design. Their boxes are different from the originals being that they open in the back, but like the earlier ones, they show a Ponyville background scene inside and on the back, there's a summary of the pony and a 'to do' list. One notable difference about the ponies themselves in that, on some ponies, the heart on their hoof is opposite side of the side showing their Cutie Mark (hip symbol); such ponies need to be removed from packages to fully see heart.

Smiling, generous Tink-a-Tink-a-Too has a pearly, greyish-purple body. Her mane is blue, dark pink, and dark purple (vertical stripes) with her tail a blend of these same colors. Her symbol (right hip) is two blue bells ties with a pink ribbon (purple outline). Her pink heart is on her left hoof (opposite). Her eyes are dark purple with a blue highlight and pink heart. Her brush is lavender and her charm is dark purple.
Happy hostess Strawberry Swirl has a white body with dark pink hair (w/iridescent tinsel). Her symbol (left hip) is two pink/red/green/ strawberries and red swirls. Her heart (left hoof) is red. Her eyes are dark purple with a pink highlight and green heart. Her brush is white and her charm is clear (colorless).
Camera-snapping Fluttershy has a pearly, light pink body. Her hair is pink, yellow, and light purple (vertical stripes) with her tail a blend of these same colors. Her symbol (left side) is a yellow/purple/medium pink butterfly and white flowers. Her eyes are purple with a medium pink highlight and yellow heart. Her heart (left side) is medium pink. Her brush is pale pink and her charm is pale pink.
Garden tending Daisyjo has a pearly purple body with yellow hair (w/iridescent tinsel). Her symbol (left hip) is two yellow & white daisies with at attached green stem. Her yellow heart is on her (opposite) right hoof. Her eyes are light green with a yellow highlight and a pink heart. Her brush is purple and her charm is pinkish-purple.

Released the same time as the "New Friends" listed above, four of the original eight ponies were reissued in different poses only a few months after the originals were introduced. Refer to the name links for original color descriptions; differences, including poses (referring back to the first pony to have that pose), are noted below. Each pony comes with a brush with the raised bow design and glitter pony charm (on iridescent cord). Any changes to brush or charm (if any) are noted below as well.
Rainbow Dash is now in Kimono's pose. Her body color is significantly different, now being a darker, greenish-gray instead of her original soft, powder blue. The main purple color in her eyes is darker, and all other purple markings including her heart is lighter. Her rainbow symbol and heart are now on her right side.
Pinkie Pie is now in Sweetberry's original pose. Her balloons symbol is now on her right side, however, her heart is still on her left hoof. She shows no other changes.
Sparkleworks is now in Sunny Daze's original pose. Her fireworks symbol and heart are now on her right side. She shows no other changes.

These three special ponies are, as labeled on their boxes, "Target Exclusives", sold only at Target Stores. They each come with their own special wintertime accessory and brush with a raised bow design. Their boxes are decorated inside with a peaceful winter background and are decorated in the outside with snowflakes instead of the usual flowers. Like all the '03 ponies, their 'to do' list and individual description is on the back. On some ponies, the heart on their hoof is opposite side of the side showing their Cutie Mark (hip symbol); such ponies need to be removed from packages to fully see heart.

Gift giving Candy Cane has a white body with bright red and white hair (w/iridescent tinsel). Her symbol (right hip) is a red & white striped candy cane and two green holly leaves/red berries. Her green heart is on her left hoof (opposite). Her eyes are dark green with a sea green highlight and a white star. She wears a large, red Santa hat (w/white faux fur trim & pom pom). Her brush is white.
Ice skating Snowflake has a pearly medium blue body. Her mane is white with a blue and purple streaks with her tail being a blend of these three colors. Her symbol (right hip) is a blue snowflake (white outline). Her heart (right hoof) is light lavender. Her eyes are light blue with a darker blue highlight and a light lavender heart. She wears a blue hood with white faux fur trim and pom pom tie closure. Her brush bright blue.
Winter party-loving Mittens has a pearly, pink body. Her mane is six alternating white and dark pink vertical stripes (w/iridescent tinsel) with her tail being simple blend of these two colors. Her symbol (left hip) is a blue-outlined pine tree, white & light blue and two white/light blue snowflakes. Her heart (left hoof) is white (not at all visible without opening box, covered by accessory). Her eyes are light blue with a darker blue highlight and pale blue heart. She wears for rainbow striped mittens w/white faux fur trim on her hooves and a rainbow striped scarf w/dark blue fringe around her neck. Her brush is pink.

The KB exclusive Tea Party set is an unusual piece for collectors. It contains two, Spring Fever, who, until now was only sold in Europe (by herself; one of the four Seasonal Ponies) and Applejack, who was also sold as part of Toys R Us Exclusive Picnic Celebration. It comes in a collectable carry case with unique accessories.
Spring Fever has a pearly mauve pink body. Her mane is pink with one streak of bright green and one streak of gold. Her tail is a mixture of these three colors. Her Cutie Mark (symbol; right hip) is a group of

Accessories the come with the tea party are a setting for three that includes a tea pot (pink with multi-colored flower designs); a pony can touch the flower's center with her magnetic hoof and the flower of top tops up. Other accessories are three matching tea cups (orange w/purple & dark pink accents) and pink saucers (with molded spoons), pink creamer (orange w/multi-colored designs), sugar bowl (orange w/purple & dark pink accents and molded sugar spoon on top), pink brush (w/bow design) for Spring Fever and light green brush (large; apple-shaped; no decal) for Applejack (same as Picnic Celebration) and a colorful vinyl picnic mat with printed settings for four and the MLP heart logo in the center. The carry case is clear vinyl with a dark pink zipper front, orange trim on the back, woven purple handle (w/orange clips), and purple zipper pull. Inside is a pastel hillside scene; the perfect backdrop for an outdoor tea party. The back has pictures and descriptions for Spring Fever and Applejack and the set is worth 6 Pony Points.
These three ponies are dresses up for work and play...while two are familiar, one is very unique. The ponies with pretty pony fashions are packages differently that earlier ponies, being on cards, very much like the 80's ponies. Along with their outfits, each pony come with a brush and some with small accessories. Two are sold in several stores while the other two are exclusive to two different stores.

Rain or Shine Garden Time with Star Swirl allows this busy pony to work in her garden no matter what the weather. Originally sold as a 'bonus pony', this version of Starswirl has some slight variations from the original. Her pose and non-pearly white body are the same as well as her pink hair with white streaks and iridescent tinsel. Her Cutie Mark (right hip) is also the same: a dark pink and silver swirl made of tiny stars and also the dark pink heart on her right hoof. However, her eyes are different, this version's being grey with pale blue highlights (both colors made her eyes much dimmer) and silver stars. Starswirl is wearing a white pink raincoat and matching rain hat. Her accessories include a purple flower pot with two plants (one with blue flowers; the other with orange & pink flowers), a purple watering can and magenta brush (raised flower design).
Berry Pickin' Fun with Butterscotch is wearing a cute outfit to protect her form the hot sun while gathering her berries for pie. Butterscotch is similar to the 'bonus pony' original with some differences. Her pose and pearly gold body are the same as well as her pale yellow hair with iridescent tinsel. Her Cutie Mark (left hip) is the same symbol is two lollipops, however bows are dark pink (instead of dark red). The heart on her hoof is also now on her right hoof (coloring may also now be dark pink). Her eyes are also a dimmer gold with beige/coral highlights and dark pink hearts. Butterscotch is wearing a pink sun hat with brightly colored flowers and dark pink underside. Her skirt has the same pink floral pattern. Her accessories include a large yellow baster (w/pink handles), two yellow small cartons (one with purple blueberries and the other with pink strawberries), and yellow brush (w/raised flower design).

Royal Ribbon is the only new pony in this set, plus she is sold exclusively at Target Stores; her package is marked with a "Target Exclusive" sticker. Royal Ribbon is dressed like a princess, to play her favorite game of make believe. She has a pearly pink body and blue hair (w/iridescent tinsel). Her Cutie Mark (right hip) is magenta damsel hat w/blue ribbon, surrounded by blue stars. She has blue eyes (with a lighter blue highlight) and pink star. She has a white heart on her right hoof. Royal Ribbon is wearing an iridescent pink cape and damsel hat; the cape has tiny heart cut-outs and blue metallic heart closure and the hat has pink streamer and pink mesh on top. Her brush is light pink (shown in blue on package).
Tea Leaf is dressed for either a quiet evening at home or one of her famous slumber parties. She is exclusive to Toys R Us, as indicated on the sticker on her card. Tea Leah has a pearly pink body with pink and yellow hair. Her Cutie Mark (left hip) is a tea cup and two flowers, in dark red, yellow, and pink, outlined in white. She has sea green eyes with blue highlights and gold heart. The heart on her hoof cannot be seen from out package, but is shown dark red on the package. Tea Leaf's accessories include a yellow fleece & velour robe, blue terry sleep mask, pink teddy bear, four yellow bunny slippers, and periwinkle comb (w/heart & swirl design). The bear and slippers are the same style as those that come with Moonlight Celebration with Moondancer.
I'm not sure what the exact name of these ponies are (no group name is on any package). Two of these ponies, Petal Blossom and Rainbow Flash, are sold in most stores, and with or without the free baby (sticker on package). The others are exclusive to various stores: Wing Song (Target) and Aloha Pearl (Toys R Us), each also packaged with a bonus baby pony; heart-shaped sticker with baby's name). Each adult has a very long mane and tail and comes with a tiara (star-and-heart design), two barrettes with attached ribbons and brush (w/raised bow design).

Her Cutie Mark (right hip) is a pink flower (w/light green stem and two smaller ones), with a light green heart of her right hoof. Her eyes are turquoise with a light green highlight and dark pink heart. She comes with a pink tiara, flower-shaped barrettes (dark pink on light green; one has white iridescent ribbons; the other has dark pink, light green, and purple ribbons), and purple brush. Petal Blossom's baby pony has no name (not written on package). She has a pearly mint green body, pink mane & magenta tail (both with iridescent tinsel). Her Cutie Mark (right hip) is several pink, magenta & white flowers and mint green sparkles. She has light aqua eyes with pink highlights and light purple stars. A heart on her hoof can't be seen from the package.
Rainbow Flash has a pearly pink body. Her mane is coral, dark pink, purple, and yellow while her tail is only dark pink and purple. Her Cutie Mark (left hip) is a rainbow over a half-sun, behind a cloud. She has purple eyes with rainbow (pink, yellow, light green) highlights and blue hearts. She has a light green heart on her left hoof. She comes with a purple tiara, star-shaped barrettes (pink on purple; one has white iridescent ribbons; the other has orange, yellow, and dark pink ribbons), and pink brush. Rainbow Flash's baby pony has no name (not written on package). She has a pearly purple body and coral, white, and dark pink hair. Her Cutie Mark (left hip) is two orange & pink star-shaped flower (w/aqua leaves). She has purple eyes with pink highlights and dark pink stars. A heart on her hoof can't be seen from the package.
According to Hasbro, the baby ponies that came with Petal Blossom and Rainbow Flash were not given names so as to allow you to name them yourself using your own imagination, however the purple baby was later given the name Baby Romperooni when she was repackaged with the Celebration Castle and the green baby, repackaged in 2005 with the Musical Wishes Jewelry Box, was named Flower Flash. Rainbow Flash and Petal Blossom continued to be sold without the baby ponies well into 2004.

Wing Song, a Target Exclusive (package is marked with sticker), has a pearly pinkish-purple body, however, she is shown with a much darker, pinker color on the package. She has yellow hair (w/iridescent tinsel). Her Cutie Mark (left hip) is a purple & yellow butterfly. She has purple eyes with light pink highlights and coral hearts. She has a coral heart on her left hoof. She comes with a pink tiara, star-shaped barrettes (pink on purple; one has white iridescent ribbons; the other has orange, yellow, and dark pink ribbons), and light pinkish-purple brush. She also comes with a pink hair scrunchy. Note that her tiara and barrettes are the same as those that come with Rainbow Flash. Wing Song's baby pony is named Goody Gumdrop. She has a pearly white body and purple hair (w/iridescent tinsel). Her Cutie Mark (right hip) is three gumdrops (dark pink & yellow), in front on a blue swirl, all on top of a pink splash design. She has green eyes with lighter green highlights and pink stars. A heart on her hoof can't be seen from the package.
Aloha Pearl, a Toys R Us exclusive, has a pearly, white body with coral and dark pink hair (w/iridescent tinsel). Her Cutie Mark (right hip) is dark pink Hawaiian flower, surrounded by smaller tropical flowers in front of an orange swirl. She has light blue eyes with an even lighter blue highlights and dark pink hearts. The heart on her hoof can't be seen from the package, but is shown as dark pink on the back. Her accessories include two dark pink & green flower-shaped barrettes; one with white iridescent ribbons and the other with green, dark pink, and purple ribbons. She also has a pink tiara and blue brush (raised bow design). Aloha Pearl comes with baby pony Bellaluna, who has a blue body with pink & white hair (w/iridescent tinsel). Her Cutie Mark (left hip) is a purple & yellow rattle & pink baby bottle over a puffy yellow & dark pink background. The heart on her hoof (left) is pinkish-purple. She has purple eyes with pink highlights and yellow dots.

Blossomforth is a name that collectors have been hearing since the rumors of MLP returning first started, and her picture appeared on MLP items including puzzles and a memory game (not shown) early on. However, the actual pony was not released until late 2003, and is part of a special playset. Dance Jamboree provides this little pony with all she needs to put on a show for you. Blossomforth cam be found at most stores including Wal-Mart, Target, and Toys R Us, and is worth 4 Pony Points.

Blossomforth, very traditionally colored, is white (non-pearly body) with dark pink hair. The simple colors are offset by her blue eyes (w/periwinkle highlight and pink heart) and blue flower (3 or dark/lighter shades w/pink centers) Cutie Mark (left hip). Her heart is pink and also on her left hoof. Her accessories are powder blue in color including a shiny mesh tutu and boa, four pearly shoes (w/pink butterfly designs), pearly 'movie star' glasses (w/pink butterfly designs), pearly flower hair tie (w/pink center), pearly barrette (w/pink heart & swirl designs), and brush (raised bow design). She stands atop a dark pink platform (decorated with hearts and musical notes) that plays two different songs when she (or any other pony) steps on the large, shiny, lighter pink heart with her magnetic hoof (you can a also start the music by pushing the tiny pink heart above it). You can see Blossomforth dance when you turn the shiny (lighter pink) thumbwheel on top of the platform.

The Celebration Salon is truly something to celebrate with found with Amberlocks as its only pony. This playset was first scene (and I believe only in Toys R Us) with three extra ponies, each with a different alternate availability. Along with hair stylist pony Amberlocks, this pack included the very common Minty (sold by herself or with 'bonus' pony), Autumn Skye ('bonus' pony; otherwise not sold in the U.S.), and Meadowbrook (comes with the Wal-Mart exclusiveBloomin' Blossoms Shop). So far, the Salon with only Amberlocks has been found in Wal-Mart, Target, and other stores outside the U.S. Different in price between the two sets is approx. $10.00. The Salon is worth 6 Pony Points (version with extra ponies is worth 10). The same thing was also done with the Cotton Candy Café not long after its release.
The Celebration Salon (shown open in box) is a hinged building that closed to half its size. The outside is a colorful mix of pink, purple, white and pearly coral, with decorative shingles, flowered vines, detailed signs (including one with a picture of Amberlocks). There are also large (clear) windows, with the salon's hours listed. Inside, there's four levels with multi-colored checkerboard floors and posters of glamorized ponies. Large accessories include a coral vanity (sink swing open with the touch of a pony's magnetic hoof) with several molded beauty items and attached hair dryer, green register (pony's touch open the drawer and makes with attached display spin) and blue mirror. Smaller items include a pink hanger and blue mesh tutu, pink brush and comb (flower design), two pink barrettes (heart design) flower hair tie, two purple shampoo bottles,
and dark pink friendship (pony-shaped) charm on an iridescent cord.
Amberlocks has a pearly, bright pink body. She has coral and light yellow hair; her mane is alternating streaks and her tail is a mixture of the two. Her Cutie Mark (symbol; left hip is several stands of yellow hair a blue bows woven around a purple circle. The heart on her left hoof is blue. She has medium blue eyes with a pale blue highlight and pink heart.
