Your Oak Branch Woods purchase helps keep Dream Valley online--thank you!

Year 10 was the final year for My Little Pony in the United States. This year, the number of ponies in set was limited to two or three. But even though My Little Pony ended suddenly, they did seem to plan to go out in a blaze of glory. This year was celebrated as the 10th anniversary of My Little Pony with all packages marked with the announcement, and even a special birthday pony and other collectibles to help us celebrate.

By Year 10, two special ponies could finally do what no other pony could...talk. The Sweet Talkin' Ponies said three different phases when you squeeze their sides: "Comb My Hair", "I Love You," and "I'm Pretty." They are both Earth ponies and came in two different colors, but in the same mold. Their mold is a variation of one introduced in year 9's Precious Pocket Ponies, only the Sweet Talkin' Ponies' mouths are open, and they have more eyelashes than most other ponies. Their manes are two-tone (vertical stripes), and their tails are swirled together in the same two colors. In the United States, the Sweet Talkin' Ponies had no names; they had names in the U.K. Each Sweet Talkin' Pony came with a hearts & dots comb.

Sweet Talkin' Ponies

The pink Sweet Talkin' Pony (UK name: Chatterbox) has pinkish-purple & dark pink hair, and sea green eyes. Her symbol is two ponies (purple outlines; blue manes) chatting in a heart (blue outline, surrounded by tiny stars, hearts, & dots); a purple (outlined) saying balloon (with three hearts inside) appears above one of the ponies.
The purple Sweet talkin' Pony (UK name: Talk A Lot) has dark pink & dark purple hair, and pink eyes. Her symbol is two aqua-colored ponies (heads only) talking on the phone, each with a receiver and connected together by a telephone wire. There is one base (aqua) beneath them. The entire symbol is outlined in pink and in enclosed by the outline of a dark pink cloud.
There were also two talking ponies identical to these two called Palabritas who speak in Spanish, as well as another set (also identical) who speak in German. The German versions say “Ich hab Dich lieb” ("I love you") and “Kämmst Du mein Haar” ("Do you comb my hair" OR "Comb my hair" [probably "Comb my hair" since that is what they say in English]).

The Flower Fantasy Ponies were a very fancy type of pony, being that they had two special designs. Not only did they have the traditional symbol on their hips, but their entire body, including their faces, are also decorated with a pattern of flowers and ribbons. Their manes run down to their feet, and they are also all Earth ponies. Flower Fantasy Ponies were the last set of U.S. ponies made in traditional molds. Each Flower Fantasy Pony came with a flower brush.

Flower Fantasy Ponies

Love Petal is white with pinkish-purple hair, and yellow-green eyes. She has a pink pattern and her symbol is a blue doilie with a hearts design.
Flowerbelle is pinkish-purple with pink hair, and gold eyes. Her pattern is blue, and her symbol is two dark pink interlocking hearts. As shown in the logo/graphic, Flowerbelle was shown with very different colors on the backcard.
Sweet Blossom is dark pink with blue hair, and pale purple eyes. Her pattern is white, and she has a gold bouquet of flowers (in a wrap tied with a bow) as her symbol.

Sippin' Soda Ponies logo with Strawberry Scoops graphic

The Sippin' Soda Ponies each came with their own sweet treat to enjoy. Their ice cream sodas are scented and have a long, clear straw attached that fits into the pony's mouth. When you squeeze her sides, she inhales a row of colored beeds that make it look like she is sipping the soda. The two Sippin' Soda Ponies have three locks of multi-colored curls in their manes and tails, and are both Earth ponies. Their head mold, was not new or altered to adjust to the open mouth; leaving the Soda Sippin' Ponies each with a round hold above her upper lip. They each came with a lollipop brush.

Soda Sippin' Ponies

Chocolate Delight is pink with aqua/pink/yellow hair, and periwinkle eyes. She has a chocolate soda as her symbol; brown ice cream, white topping & sprinkles, in a purple glass, with a straw and a cherry on top. The soda is surrounded by brown & white sprinkles and (brown) chocolate chips. The chocolate-scented soda she came with is similar in color, with a purple dish, chocolate (brown) ice cream, white topping (w/molded sprinkles; not colored), and a red cherry on top.
Strawberry Scoops is purple with dark pink/white/blue hair, and turquoise eyes. Her symbol is a strawberry soda; strawberry (pink) ice cream, white topping, in a large blue bowl, with a pink & blue strawberry on top and a straw. The soda is surrounded by strawberries. The strawberry-scented soda she came with is similar in color, with a blue dish, strawberry (pink) ice cream, white topping (w/molded sprinkles; not colored), and a red cherry on top.

Applying and removing Sweet Kisses Ponies' lipstick (Ruby Lips)
Sweet Kisses Ponies are a set of three pretty ponies who become even prettier when you apply magic lipstick to their mouths. They each came with a tube of lipstick (bright pink lipstick cap w/colored based), and when you dip the red felt tip in cold water, and brush it onto your pony's lips, dark pink lipstick appears. And when you kiss your pony's lips or apply warm water to them, the lipstick disappears. Sweet Kisses Ponies are made in the Sweetheart Sisters molds, and have strands of tinsel in their manes, which run down to their feet. Like all ponies in these molds, all of the Sweet Kisses are Earth ponies. Unlike most ponies, Sweet Kisses Ponies do not come with a brush or comb.

Sweet Kisses Ponies

Ruby Lips is aqua with purple hair (w/purple tinsel), and pinkish-purple eyes. She has neon pink lips and x's & o's as her symbol. She came with a light purple lipstick tube.
Lovin' Kisses is white with dark pink hair (red tinsel), and dark purple eyes. She has a large, blue XO and hearts as her symbol, and she came with a yellow lipstick tube.
Happy Hugs is pink with blue hair (w/dark blue tinsel), and turquoise eyes. Her symbol is a purple (and purple outlined) tube of lipstick (same design as the one the Sweet Kisses Ponies come with), lips, and hearts as her symbol. She came with a blue tube of lipstick.
There were also another set of Sweet Kisses Ponies, who were sold outside the U.S., with different colors, names, and made in traditional MLP molds.

Sundazzle Ponies' color-changing hair (Sunglory)
Following the style of Year 7's Sunshine Ponies, this Year's Sundazzle Ponies also have streaks in their hair that change color in the sun. But the Sundazzle Ponies were a little different; their bodies are in neon colors and their hair is crimped. Both mane and tail are blonde with a colored streak, but in their manes, the streak of blonde closest to their head would change to magenta (as shown) in the sunlight while the other blonde streak, and their tails would remain blonde. The other colored streak also remained unchanged. Sundazzle Ponies are in Sweetheart Sister molds which makes them all Earth ponies. They wear eye shadow, and each came with a sun hairpick.

Sundazzle Ponies

Sunbeam is hot pink with chartreuse streaks in her hair. She has yellow-green eyes and yellow eye shadow. She has a pink (body color) floating sailboat in front of a blue & yellow sunset as her symbol; this scene is set atop a row of green palm trees and coordinating colored geometric designs.
Sunglory is yellow with blue streaks in her hair. She has medium pink eyes and neon orange eye shadow. Her symbol is a dark pink & purple umbrella, in a wave of purple water with a dark pink & orange fish, all in front of an orange & dark pink sun.
Sunsplasher is dark neon orange with purple streaks in her hair. She has turquoise eyes and yellow-green eye shadow. Her symbol is a yellow sun (w/yellow & purple rays) wearing blue sunglasses (w/colored lenses), surrounded by blue splashes.
